Nina’s Talk: Middle Muddle, a performance by Nina Wise

Nina Wise, performance artist, writer, director and educator, is known for her provocative and original performance works which have been produced in the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. Her pieces have garnered seven Bay Area Critics’ Circle Awards, and she has received, among other prestigious honors, three National Endowment for the Arts fellowships. Her written pieces have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. She is the founder of Motion Theater and the author of A Big New Free Happy Unusual Life (Broadway Books). She teaches Motion Theater at Esalen Institute, and has been a visiting lecturer at UC Santa Cruz, SF State University, Stanford University as well as at international conferences and think tanks. She also teaches Buddhist practice at Spirit Rock meditation center. She is currently writing and directing a multi-media work about Johannes Kepler which will be performed at Morrison Planetarium this summer.
